Use simple adjectives to describe physical appearance and personality.

- Physical description can include tall, short, young, old, curly-haired or slim.
- Personality adjectives include kind, friendly, funny, shy and helpful.
- The verb be is used before adjectives: She is friendly.

- Read or listen to the model sentence.

- Build a new sentence using the same structure.
- Check word order, subject, verb form and punctuation.

- Using the wrong form of be or forgetting -s with he/she in the present simple.
- Translating French word order directly into English.
