My mother is incredibly generous and patient. She always listens to my problems and gives me wise advice. She works hard every day to provide for our family, yet she never complains. She is also very creative and loves cooking delicious meals for us.
I admire my mother because she is strong, caring, and selfless. She has taught me the values of kindness, hard work, and perseverance. I am grateful to have her in my life.

Understand the rule
A useful description combines relevant appearance, personality and examples of behaviour. Avoid reducing a person to a list of adjectives or stereotypes. Select details that support the purpose of the paragraph.
Follow a method
Introduce the person and your relationship. Organise physical details separately from qualities. Support two qualities with concrete behaviour. End with an overall impression.
